Evaluation Task 2- How does your product represent particular social groups?

In our opening sequence to our thriller we had four characters- 3 main actors and one minor.

Our first and most significant actor was Simon who played the part of- A middle class government worker. We were able to represent his character, through his actions/intentions and the way that he was clothed. Simons situation was that he had got hold of some important governmental information, which he is trying to keep away from the heavies that are after him. We wanted to represent Simons character in a positive way, with the audience believing he has good intentions with the information stored on the hard drive.
Our next two characters were Adam and Ted who both played the part of: Two political heavies, who were after the information that was on the hard drive that Simon was safe keeping. Though they had a high status in the sequence, they were of a lower class than Simon. We wanted to represent these two characters in a negative light, through their behavior and body language. We wanted the audience to feel against these two characters, as if they were the 'Bad guys'.
