Research in to the order of titles in title sequence- 3

Opening title sequence to- Man Of Steel

This is a really good opening title sequence, cause it has such a calm build up towards the film, which i really like. The first few credits we see are the production companies, and who helped distribute the film.
Then the actors in the film are credited, in the order of significance to the film, starting with Henry Cavill who plays superman and ending with Russel Crowe who plays Jor-El.

Then things such as casting and costume is shown, then music which is by Hans Zimmer and fianlly the director Zack Snyder is credited.

Then finally the title of the film is shown, revealing to us, the audience, what we are watching.

Research in to the order of titles in title sequence- 2

Opening sequence to- 3 days to kill

The first thing we see in this film is the production companies, which gives us the awareness of who the film is made by.

AFter these are introduced the first character, the main character Kevin Costner, followed by AMber Heard who are both significant characters in the film.

After all the characters are introduced things such as screenplay and direction are introduced, followed by the title of the film.

Finally through the credits we are able to see that the film is actually based on a true story.

Opening sequence to- Enemy of the state.

The first thing we see in this opening sequence is the title of the film, in large font in the center of the screen, making us aware of what we are watching from the start.  The next two credits are for Will Smith and Gene Hackman, who's names are in a big font, again in the center of the screen, thus highlighting their importance, the also get a lot of screen time between their credits.

Then the less significant actors are shown, in a smaller font, with less screen time and placed more in the corner of the screen, showing they are not as significant to the film as the previous people who were credited are.
Further into the sequence, the even less significance characters, start to be credited in pairs, and further into the corner of the screen.
Then all the members of the production crew are credited starting with the casting, and ending with the director. It seems as if the more important production roles, such as producers and the writer, are credited at the end of the sequence which i find interesting as i would expect them to be first.

Account of shoot day

We arrived at school normal time, and after breakfast went to the media idea so that what we wanted to shoot through out the day was clear. We left for Cornhill, where we shot the opening sequence in the end, at around 10:30. Here we met Simon who came from outside of school to be our main actor. Throughout the morning we wanted to get through the majority of the shots that we needed to get from inside the house with Simon. We spent the whole morning just filming the scene inside the two bedrooms that we used. This left us thinking that we may not have enough time to film the rest in the afternoon. Cornhill was good as it had a hotel environment which was exactly what we were looking for.

We went back to school for lunch at 12;30 and took a rest. We headed back to Cornhill at around 1:00, where we finished shooting Simons shots inside the house. We then went on outside to film his drive away shots, which i think went very well due to his driving fitting the sequence perfectly. Then our two "heavies Adam and Ted were needed, at this point Simon left as we had shot all we needed with him. We filmed them firstly inside and then our last shots were them arriving at the "hotel".

Overall i think that the shooting went really well and that we worked well as a unit. Throughout the shoot day we came up with new ideas for shots we hadn't thought of before, some of which have potential to look good if edited properly. Each of us did some directing and some filming so we all got a fair share of the experience. I'm looking forward to pulling it all together and seeing what we can do with some of the shots that we didn't expect to have. We came pretty well prepared, but still weren't sure on some of the shots we wanted, this however enabled us to try different shooting techniques that arguably worked better.
